The final stages
The last board is installed so that there is a centimeter gap between it and the wall. It is cut to the required width and screwed to the log. After installation, it should be sanded with a sanding machine. First you need to make sure that the screws are completely recessed into the board.
The laid board is covered with paint or varnish. It is pre-coated with a protective impregnation or drying oil, after which it is framed with a baseboard.
